The most powerful engine ever offered in Indmar’s history. With a 6.2L supercharged V8 and 545 lb-ft. of torrential torque, you can also say this is the hardest working engine in the line-up. The LSA was bred to tow watersports and set milestones of it’s own. Indmar’s high performance engineering team marinized the same block that launched the Cadillac CTS-V from 0 to 60 in 3.9 seconds, the world’s fastest production sedan. Indmar’s LSA is endowed with an Eaton supercharger and features a roots-type intercooler to cool the air before it’s mixed with fuel and numerous other components. For added durability and longevity, Indmar uses stainless steel waterlines instead of rubber hoses. Indmar’s U.S. Coast Guard approved in-tank fuel pump and delivery system is designed with double redundancy for increased safety and fuel supply optimization for hi-boost performance. Our investment in high quality, single jacketed fuel lines eliminate the need for an external fuel pump, exposed hoses and connections which can lead to the possibility of fuel vapor locking condition.

The in-tank design allows the fuel pump to stay cool and eliminates the potential of vapor locking and is the same pump in-tank system that every new automobile uses.

To channel power-enhancing airflow directly to the engine, Indmar custom designs and engineers intake manifolds to maximize the inherent brilliance of each model Indmar powers. As a result, the increased airflow delivers explosive performance and takes each boat model that it powers to a whole new level of performance and pulling power.

The secret ingredient…is that our intake manifolds are torque tuned, not horsepower tuned. We contribute our successes and record of powering more world records than all other manufacturers combined to torque tuned intake manifolds.

Beauty and brains. Indmar Marine Engines is the only inboard engine manufacturer to design and custom calibrate engines for each specific boat manufacturer. We have invested in our own state-of-the-art dyno lab fully certified by the Environmental Protection Agency. Indmar’s Just–in–Time Delivery program means an engine travels from the truck to boat without costly layovers in storage facilities. It’s a program that relies on carefully orchestrating the logistics and delivery time of Indmar products to save OEM’s the extra step of warehousing engines.

With our own fleet of trucks, when we deliver engines to an OEM we leave behind a trailer, essentially a mobile warehouse. OEM’s can then pull product as needed and in doing so, save on costs required to warehouse the engines. In return, it reduces their inventory and avoids delays.
