Overall MIPS Performance Per section 1848(q)(9)(A) of the Social Security Act, Physician Compare is required to publicly report eligible clinicians’ overall MIPS performance information. Physician Compare will publicly report the 2018 final and performance category scores for Quality, Promoting Interoperability, Improvement Activities, and Cost.

Type of score Collection Type

Downloadable Database

Final score All - Quality performance category score All - Promoting Interoperability performance category score5 All - Improvement Activities performance category score All - Cost performance category score All -

Note: If you have an open Targeted Review request, you will still be able to preview your 2018 Quality Payment Program performance information during the Physician Compare preview period. However, if your performance information (including final score), changes as a result of the Targeted Review, please check your updated Performance Feedback. To access your Performance Feedback, log-in to the Quality Payment Program dashboard and select the “Performance Feedback” link. This is important to ensure your Targeted Review is complete and to preview your updated performance information before it goes live on Physician Compare.

5 Promoting interoperability (PI) performance category scores above 0 are used to indicate, on Physician Compare profile pages, that the clinician or group successfully reported the PI performance category. A score of 50 or above, which is included in the Downloadable Database, indicates that the clinician or group achieved the base score for the PI performance category (83 FR 59913).
