Introduction

India¶s Service sector forms as a backbone of social andeconomic development of a region.

It has emerged as the largest and fastest-growing sectorsin the world economy, making higher contributions to theglobal output and employment.

It contributes as much as 68.6 per cent of the overallaverage growth.



Private Sector

Private Sector emerged since the departure of the BritishGovernment in 1947

Due to Foreign private investments which led to the growth due tothe new industrial policy announced in 1991.
