India's cultural heritage dates back to 5000 years. Very few countries in the world has a social and religious structure which withstood invasions and persecution and yet kept its identity by being resilient enough to absorb, ignore or reject all attempts to radically change or destroy them. Indian culture is unique because of its diversity and variety in physical, religious, racial, linguistic and artistic fields.In India religion is a way of life being an integral part of Indian tradition. Many dances, theatrics and folklore are religious and based on Indian mythology and folk legends. One has to have background knowledge of Indian mythology to enjoy and appreciate the Indian Arts. 

India has a lot of heritage sites due to its history. There are 32 World Heritage Properties in Indiaout of which 25 are Cultural Properties and 7 areNatural Properties. India is known for its culture and heritage sites. India has one of the seven wonders of the world- The Taj mahal . Along with it ,ithas several beautiful monuments . All Indian citizens take care of them and hope to maintain it for the future generation to see it.

THE TAJ MAHAL“A statement of undying love”.

Taj Mahal, Agra, is undoubtedly one of the supreme accomplishments of Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan, the ruler of the Mughal Empire of India, who was known for his architectural achievements, commissioned the building of the Taj Mahal as a tomb for his beloved queen in glaring white marble that the world would never forget.

THE QUTUB MINARThe tall and ever attractive

monument of Delhi which can be seen from most parts of the city is called the Qutub Minar. Mughals used to build victory towers to proclaim and celebrate victories. Some say the Minaret was used to offer prayer but it is so tall that you can hear the person standing on the top.

THE RED FORTThe red was the residence

of the Mughal Emperor of India for nearly 200 years, until 1857. It is located in the centre of Delhi and houses a number of museums. In addition to accommodating the emperors and their households, it was their ceremonial and political centre of mughal government and setting for events critically impacting the region.

THE INDIA GATE The India Gate, is a war memorial

located astride the Rajpath India gate is a memorial to 82,000 soldiers of the undivided British Indian Army who died in the period 1914–21 in the First World War in France  and elsewhere in the Near and the Far East, and the Third Anglo-Afghan War. 13,300 servicemen's names, including some soldiers and officers from the United Kingdom, are inscribed on the gate. The India Gate evokes the architectural style of the triumphial arc and is often compared to the Arc de Triomphe in Paris. THE CLIMATEThe climate of India comprises a wide range

of weather conditions across a vast geographic scale and varied topograph.India hosts six major climatic subtypes, ranging from arid desert in the west, alpine tundra and glaciers in the north, and humid tropical regions supporting rainforests in the southwest and the island territories. There are variety of festivals due to variety of culture. Here people celebrate all the festivals with ethusiasm and joy . Even there are some national festivals and days celebrated by people here .

CUISINE AND LANGUAGEIndian is as diverse as India . Indian cuisines

is famous all over the world. Indian cuisine use numerous ingredients, deploy a wide range of food, preperation styles, cooking techniques and cutlery presentation . India also serves with international dishes but it is famous for its religious food. Thus India have a variety of cuisine. The official language of India is hindi but people speak English also. According to culture, people may speak local language as well.
