Founded in Osaka, Japan in 1948, Fujitec Co., Ltd. has its world headquarters in Japan and also has other operational headquarters located in the Americas, Japan, South Asia, East Asia and Europe. With a network of 10 state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities and direct sales and service offices at various locations, the company strives to lead the industry in safety, innovation and quality.

Fujitec's worldwide organization includes four research and development / engineering centers which are located in Japan, Singapore, China, Korea and the United States.

In Japan, Fujitec's “Big Wing” facility houses a 560-foot research tower, one of the tallest of its kind in the world. This facility is focused on developing the latest technologies and integrating all phases of product development, design and manufacturing. Fujitec's research and development facility in China is located in the Song Jiang Industrial Zone in Shanghai and is approximately 150,000 m2 (1.6 million sq. ft). This space is utilized for parts and components procurement.

Japanese Quality Manufacturing in India

Fujitec India Pvt. Ltd was established in 2004 in Mumbai to undertake the marketing, installation, testing and commissioning of Fujitec's range of Vertical transportation Equipment comprising Elevators, Escalators and Autowalks in India. Fujitec India Pvt Limited is a fully owned subsidiary of Fujitec Co., Ltd. Japan.

After commencing operations from Mumbai region in 2004, Fujitec has rapidly expanded to other parts of the country like Chennai, Bangalore, Pune, Hyderabad, Coimbatore, Cochin, Mangalore, Gurgaon, Delhi, Noida, Mysore, Chandigarh and most recently Punjab to cater to the expanding market demands.

To keep pace of the growing demand Fujitec set up a state of the art manufacturing facility in the year 2010 at Mahindra World City, near Chennai. The company's factory is built on a total area of 39,100 sq meters, the Indian factory is built in line with Fujitec's global production facilities to provide the same equipment standards that are being provided internationally. The initial phase of the factory has the corporate office, production area, engineering center, customer interaction centre and training center. The current phase is capable of producing 3000 Units per annum.

The customer interaction centre at Fujitec Factory showcases various elevator car designs. There are a range of finishes and accessories also displayed for the customers benefit. The centre has an operational Escalator to give the first hand experience to the prospective buyers on the Fujitec Quality.

Service & Maintenance

Fujitec's service excellence and total quality preventive maintenance program is available for every elevator. Fujitec's experienced technicians are highly trained on a wide variety of equipment and take pride in customer service and quickly respond to unexpected circumstances.

In addition, Fujitec's technicians are given maximum hours for preventative maintenance. This results in fewer callbacks, a more reliable system and the owner's complete satisfaction in knowing their investment is being maintained in this manner.

Fujitec has standardized elevator main components, such as traction machine, control system and aesthetic fixtures establishing the Fujitec brand identity and creating an integrated global quality management system.

Escalator

Escalator and moving walks play an important role in managing the flow of people in public space; such as in shopping malls, hospitals, airports, railway stations, office, residential and commercial buildings.

Fujitec escalators and moving walks are designed to fit all types of facilities and fulfil the customer needs for safe and comfortable means of transporting people.

Autowalks

Fujitec’s Autowalk provides passengers with smooth, safe and reliable transportation in airports, mass transit stations and shopping centers across the world. Fujitec offers Autowalks having elegant design with high people moving efficiency.

Field Engineering Training

FTC ( Fujitec training centre) within the Fujitec Factory has the unique distinction of having multiple test towers to have structured training of the installation & Sales personnel. The selected trainees undergo a comprehensive classroom & practical training program to ensure the equipment are installed and serviced in line with Fujitec Global Standards.

Fujitec India is the first Japanese Manufacturer to be an Active member of following BIS/IS code governing committee:

Ÿ ET25 – Panel P4 – core technical committee which draft Elevator code

Ÿ NBC (National Building code) – CED P16 committee

Ÿ ISO/TC 178 – International committee governs ISO standards for Elevators

Fujitec has a full-fledged maintenance and service department having service centers in all our operating areas in India to carry out preventive and planned maintenance service. Fujitec India has in our employment, well qualified and experienced engineers and technicians, trained in Japan. There are Japanese engineers from M/s. Fujitec Co., Ltd. stationed in India for various operational responsibilities.

Fujitec India and all its regional operations are ISO 9001:2008 certified.

In Chennai, Fujitec has located our all India central store which maintains the spare parts of the all India operational requirements. There are also satellite stores in regional operating areas to meet customer requirements.
