ForewordWelcome to the 2018 Index of Shops and Amenities. This new edition has been updated and replaces the 2016 edition.

I would like to thank the Index Working party particularly, Cllr Rosalind Bolton who chaired the group. The Index has a long history dating back to 1972. It has, over the years, proved to be invaluable to residents and is supportive of local businesses. The fact that it can be given free to all households in Wellesbourne and Walton is because it is fully funded from income given by the advertisers.

What we do We are a voluntary group supporting the elderly and frail - Addressing issues of neglect, loneliness & isolation as well as providing social opportunities & promoting well-being.

Our projects include:

Big bench challenge; companies and organisations sponsoring benches around the village. Dementia Café –weekly on Wednesday afternoons (supported by WRAP Reminiscence Action Project) Information Hub – drop in for information and support on health and wellbeing topics.
