The Transition from Independent to Assisted Living and Memory Care.

For many people, the transition to Assisted Living or Memory Care can be difficult. For Independent Living residents who choose the Gold or Platinum membership, we offer the Aging in Place option at discounted fees for those who may need to progress to Assisted and/or Memory Care units in the future. At La Pueblita, our Independent residents may be able to receive certain levels of assistance without leaving their original residence. The psychological and health benefits of remaining in the comfort of your apartment or casita (i.e., Aging in Place) is a concept that has been proven effective by academics and practitioners alike.

At La Pueblita, residents can choose from various plans that meet their financial and long term needs by choosing from different ̈ Membership¨ levels. Each level includes our Standard Service and Amenity Package plus additional health care services and financial discounts dependent upon which level you choose.

Bathrooms include security features with emergency buttons.Fire safety alarms in each unit.Furniture is not included but can be rented or purchased at reasonable cost.Mailbox and personal storage spaces are provided for each unit.Access to and use of all community spaces, landscaped courtyards and walking paths.

This membership level includes the lowest membership fee and a monthly fee based on the size and type of unit chosen. This membership includes the standard package of services and amenities, but other services are available “a la carte” at regular prices according to the resident´s discretion.
