INCEIF and Seoul National University of South Korea are organising a joint symposium on the practice of Islamic finance in Malaysia and Indonesia on the 22 June 2020 at INCEIF campus in Kuala Lumpur. The theme for the symposium is “Islamic Finance in Malaysia and Indonesia: South Korean Perspectives”. The coverage of the presentations will include Islamic capital market, Shariah governance, takaful and Islamic banking.

Presenters will be academicians from South Korea universities including Seoul National University of South Korea, Hannam University, Hankuk University of Foreign Studies, Korea University and Kangwon National University. The objective of the symposium is to be a platform for exchange of research findings and perceptions from the lenses of South Korea on the Islamic finance practices in Malaysia and Indonesia.
