The incorporation of biotechnologically produced components, such as growth factors, biomimetic peptides and active ingredients of plant and marine origin, is one of the reasons why INBIOTEC has been able to develop formulations unlike those commonly available.

Our SMART COSMETICS are unique because they act selectively and inte-lligently, single-handedly stimulate all the necessary regeneration processes to perfection and act directly on the skin tissue through receptors, behaving as antagonists or agonists of cellular mechanisms and modulating, contro-lling and regulating their biochemical functions.

Consequently, they act on the skin at di!erent levels:

They stimulate the synthesis of the pro-teins which form the extracellular matrix (collagen, elastin, fibronectin and laminin).

They enhance and accelerate skin healing. They regenerate and restructure the epi-dermis.

They attenuate inflammatory skin reac-tions, regulate the pro-irritating cytokines and protect the DNA against UVA and UVB radiation, while suppressing the activity of the melanocyte-stimulating hormone and melanin synthesis.

They inhibit the degradation of collagen and elastin in the face of damage caused by the external environment (UV, pollution, etc.) and aging.

Thanks to biotechnology, it is now possible to develop cosmetics with “programmed” ingredients, i.e. active ingredients developed to perform a “clear and specific function on the skin which act at the root of the problem, providing everything ne-cessary to recover its full beauty and plenitude.”

All our formulations are subjected to product stability and safety tests. Tests are also performed to ensure that the packaging materials are compatible with the contents.The principal chemico-physical para-meters of each formulation are mecha-nically and thermodynamically tested in order to predict the chemical stability and microbiological contamination of each production batch.

Technical files and declarations of con-formity with current European, US and other countries’ standards exist for all our formulations.
