HEY NOW…
“Fire On The Mountain III” WILL BE HAPPENING!! Well friendz, this is IT!! Noon, September 1st thru Noon, September 3rd is the Big Party at Manzana Vista, Biglerville, PA!! For a $10 ticket…you get a weekend with the kindest folks in Central PA, and some of the best regional artists & musicians in one place this summer! “FOTM” has grown in size & attendance radically over the last 2 years, with close to 600 people showing for last year’s event!! Good Vibes, Great people, and the best live music in the region make this the most fun to be had in PA this summer!! We are pre-selling tickets right now at HALF of ‘face value’…$5 until 20th May, and can be purchased for this price ONLY at ‘Locke Studios’ at 12 Baltimore St, Gettysburg…or at ANY “BlackHand” show prior to the 20th!! After that date, and at the gate, tickets will be $10!! (12 yr. /under=FREE!) There will be free parking, free tent camping, Tattooing by ‘Locke Studios’ & vendors, but is B.Y.O.B. Due to legal constraints, no one under 18 years of age will be admitted without a legal guardian. This is a family event, but please keep an eye on your children!! We have been told by extremely enthusiastic attendees, that this festy has a very comfortable ‘backyard’ feel, and that everyone here feels a strong sense of belonging!! This will be ensured further this year, as we welcome many new faces into the fold!! Can’t wait to be together again…we’ve each taken on a subtopic for the rest of the Enewsletter to hopefully tackle some of your questions early! Stringz-n-Thingz…
I am so excited about this year’s artist and musician lineup!! While I hesitate somewhat, not having confirmed with a couple of acts yet, I am willing to give a hint or two as to who you will be fortunate to see perform at this year’s event!! FOTM veterans, like Shannon Isaacson & Lennon Free will perform popular songs & comedy. Acoustic duo, ‘Neil & Shannon’ will be here this year!! The great ‘Pale Barn Ghosts’ will be tearing it up with Americana! The awesome ‘Keith Kailian’ will slay you with true Delta Blues, too! We are extremely excited to welcome our brilliant friendz from Philly, ‘Bonsai Bills’ this year!! Don’t miss their set!! As always, the live music will go on throughout the afternoons and evenings with all amplified music ending at midnight, and fireside jams take us through the rest of the night!! Of course, your hosts “BlackHand” will headline the last slot of Sat. & Sun. nights!! Get yer tickets NOW…DON’T wait ‘til da’ gate!! See ya’ soon!!

The Key is…
For me…0ne of the greatest aspects of “Fire On The Mountain” is the people! The diversity is amazing, with NASCAR fans and Grateful DeadHeads merging together to have a really good time! Last year we met some really awesome people from quite a distance away…some from South Carolina, Philadelphia, and Massachusetts, to name a few! We sure hope everyone can make it out to join the “FOTM” melting pot this year, as it promises to be THE event of the Summer of 2012!! See you in a couple weeks, folks!" The ‘BlackBone’
The Drum Circle…
So excited for this event! Since it has been so much fun in past years…we have already had an unprecedented amount of interest and questions!! Tickets will be sold and taken at the top of Rocky Road. Free Parking is in the field up at the top of the road with a short walk to the site. Tickets will be sold at that "gate" if you haven't pre-purchased. Since we expect record turnout, we are asking for volunteers to help with tickets and parking, and several other odd jobs that may come and go. The Bomb Shelter…
It's my favorite time of year, and anyone who has been to "FOTM" knows where I will be sleeping - on the grass, with the sky as my blanket! But, maybe you're looking for something a little less open. We, as always, will provide free tent camping for you and your family! This year, for your convenience, we have added more ‘Spot-o-Pots’ accessible from the camping area! However, "Camptown" is not just a functional place, but a fun one, too! It is almost like a community center, a great place for sitting around the bonfire, having sing-a-longs after bands wrap up at night, maybe even jamming it out with some of the bands! In the mornings you can see people gathering for coffee and a game of "Corn-Hole", or maybe just sitting with everyone chatting in the cool mountain air, and that kind of thing is what makes it "Fire On
