Welcome to Week One of Inspiring Mummy Club! This is our first Inspiration Pack, designed for you to start to reflect on how you would like to feel in your every day life, by getting honest about what’s happening currently. This is just the beginning of a journey we’re going on during your time as a member of Inspiring Mummy Club. All of our workbooks, mediations, visualisations and powerful, relaxing hypnosis audio are designed to help you make shifts in your thinking and in how you feel. Each month will follow a topic, and each week there’ll be an extra tool to help you. We’ll be looking at how and when (if at all!) you manage to take time out for you, without interruptions or duties and obligations invading your personal space. At Inspiring Mummy Club, we recognise it’s easy to feel that there’s no time for you to think or reflect, or to do the things you enjoy any more because you’re just too busy and too tired. We believe it’s time to turn that around. A happier, calmer Mummy makes for a happier home. Together, we’ll help turn things around, so you can start to feel more like you again, more engaged, and more in control. So make yourself a cuppa, find a quiet space for a few minutes, and answer the following questions as honestly as you can.

In what ways to you currently take time our for yourself? List them all (if there aren’t any, don’t worry, we can do something about that!)What do you do? How long do you have to do it? How often does it happen?

How do each of those activities make you feel? Are they good for you? Do they feel like they make things seem brighter?

Do you find it easy to take time out for yourself? Do you feel you have to justify your needs to other people? Are you supported by those around you in taking time for you? Do you feel guilty about taking that time for yourself? What are your thoughts?

How important is it to you to take time out for yourself? What would it mean to you to have more time?

What do you believe about making time for yourself? Are you allowed? Who do you need permission from?

What do you do for fun? Would you like to have more fun in your life? Are there activities you used to do, before children, that you miss? What are they?

Who do you know that takes more time out than you do? What do you think about what they do? Are there ways you could emulate their behaviour and habits? Would you want to?

How could you make more time for you? What would you have to organise or put in place in order to ensure it becomes a priority?

How would you benefit from having more time for yourself? How would your family benefit?

List as many ways you can think of that you could take time for you, if there were no limitations on time, money or childcare. Dream big.

Pick one of the activities from the list, and put a time slot in your diary for later this week. This is non-negotiable Mummy time. Do what you have to do to make it happen.

Write here what you will do for yourself THIS WEEK:

Action: Share in the Facebook Inspiring Mummy Club Page what you chose to do, and how it felt.

List ways that you can take time out for yourself which are nourishing and up-lifting. Find ways that do not cost any money. List things you can do even when the children are home, perhaps in bed asleep. How long would each of them take?
