In what ways does your media product use, develop or challenge forms and conventions of real media products.

The way I used Q magazine to help me make my magazine cover is, by not using that many pictures on the cover. So that my magazine reflects on one up rising act. They need the spot light for once in order to become famous.

Also where is the best place to place the bar code.

Also I used a bit of the color scheme to help me out for example red, white and how they work together.

What I learned by looking at nme magazine is that it uses one colour in the background.

What I did not take into account is by the use of having more then one picture because my magazine is focusing on one act on the cover page.

What I gained from looking at XXl’s cover page is the font and, how the biggest font is about the cover models.

But what I changed is how the rest of the writing is not in the way of the XXl models. But for my cover page I picked for the smaller fonts to go on top of the picture because they are just up and coming music artist. But for XXl, the music acts are big enough to get their own space on the cover page.

What I used to help me with my contents page is the use of having a few pictures and keeping the house style e.g. the hat, black and white background. Also, the colors of the font and using the same font as well like I did on my cover page.

With the help of both contents of the magazines I then made my mind to add a backround but still keeping the text around the pictures

I also added white boards like they did on the q magazine pictures as well but, I did I changed it to a stroke because it stands out more.

I did a few contents pages but with the help of xxl contents page I was able to base the text around the pictures.

Also making the font readable and using the house style as well.

What I developed by looking at nme magazine is where to place the pictures . What I did change is the background and not to just use one colour because it seems to dull for my readers. So I did have a background but the black and white which was the picture.

What I learned from NME’s double page spread is how they keep the house style consistent and how the background is still red like on the cover page.

I did not follow the same style because it did not suite my magazine theme because it was too plan for the young audiences I am trying to target. So I added a few more pictures in order for the reads to see who they really are.

What I leaned and developed by looking at NME’s double page spread is how my main title should look like and where to place it and what colours to use and what size it should be in order to stands out when looking at the page without even reading the interview.

What I gained from looking at Q magazines double page spread is the way my interview or text should layout . But I did develop the image on one page by making it a background and adding the text on top of it on my double page spread.

What I did use but developed it is by looking at the double page spread. Is to have just one big picture - I added a few more to show different sides of the new music acts.

What I gained by looking at XXl magazine is where the title is placed at the top nice big and board.- I used white or exclusive because on XXl it really stands out.

What I also developed by looking at XXl double page is the by line.
