Communicate with the whole worldPOWERTV - a technological brain of sorts - is the product of a tightly knit, creative team of developers and multidisciplinary engineers. It’s a sophisticated platform that understands how to communicate with a range of external systems, including property management systems (PMS) and VDA domotics; with Internet and news in real time; with iPods and home theatre systems. Moreover, hassle-free maintenance and updates to POWERTV (which are done remotely) are undertaken and guaranteed by VDA, leaving the hotel free to simply get on with its business.
Here is how our interactive TV functions The POWERTV system architecture is developed on a client-server platform connected via a standard IP network. It consists essentially of three components: A network computer connected to the TV and enclosed in a discrete box (Set Back Box); A central unit, consisting of a group of servers that communicate with the computer network and distribute paid services; And finally a supervisory system that allows the platform to manage, monitor and provide assistance remotely.
