Dear Friends,

I am happy to announce an exciting pilgrimage to Greece and Ephesus, in Turkey, where we will reflect on the life and journeys of St. Paul. In Athens, Ephesus, and Corinth, we will consider his bold mission before cultures rich in history, science, the arts, politics, and religiouspractices. In Ephesus, we will pray at the “House of Mary.” On the island of Patmos, we will visit the site where St. John experienced anextraordinary vision in which he was directed to write down his experiences as the Book of Revelation.

Our three-day Greek Islands cruise, including visits to the beautiful islands of Mykonos and Santorini, will bring us through the deep blue andtranquil waters of the Aegean Sea. The voyage will offer time for recreation, reflection, and the enjoyment of the beauty of nature.

Join us on this unique pilgrimage of discovery, faith, reflection, and celebration! May the experiences of St. Paul, St. John, all the early saintswhose memories we shall encounter, and, of course the grace-filled “yes” of the virgin Mary, inflame our hearts with a greater desire to bearwitness to the presence of the crucified and risen Jesus in our world!

A fellow pilgrim in the Sacred Heart of Jesus,

Fr. John Alvarado, PastorEnrollment Form • Sacred Heart Parish • September 22 - October 1, 2019 • Tour Code: 9490
