Purpose of this FormThis form has been developed in order to record the important details around a new MCS Content Product or an update project for an existing product. The questions here will help the technical support teams determine what workflow steps will be necessary to publish the authored content through the online database so that it can be delivered to customers. We have also provided some milestone deliverables at the end of the form to assist the Product Project Manager with scheduling enough time for the publishing activities.

Directions Please make sure to review and answer all questions that are appropriate. You should begin completing this form once you have a definition of a product or update to a product. If you cannot answer the questions, you probably have some more planning to do before you are ready to engage in the discussions of the publishing process.

Remember that there are two workflows to producing an e-learning product:

- Develop the content (engage subject matter experts and designers)

- Publish the content through the online database so it can be delivered through the LMS to e-learning customers.

This form is intended to assist with defining the components of the product so that we can establish the Publishing workflow. There may be many activities around the Development process that will take place that are not represented in this document.

When this form is completed, or at least the required fields are completed, please return it to Johnel Furmanek. This will signify the beginning of ‘scoping’ your project. Once we have the required information, we can provide schedule dates and actually commit resources for the publishing workflow.
