In response to the global effort of combating deforestation, we, the students of Muntinlupa Science High School, created innovative ways on how to impart on our

fellow students the importance of being aware in this global

problem.

We view deforestation as a major problem not only in progressing

countries but also to rich countries.

Why?

Because all of us need trees.

This need of trees is misinterpreted by cutting trees

and then turning them into something useful in our lives.

But the real importance of trees in us is it sustains our life.

And every day that passes, we are running out of time before we can

save this need.

We have to choose between immediate sustenance or life-time

benefit.

That’s why we need to act now.

We thought of some ways on how we can creatively enhance our

artistic skills in helping the environment

We resolved to converting a flour bag into a handy bag.

The material we used is reused and others bought it from bakeries

or just found it in their stuffs.

We put designs on it related to Earth Day and DeforestAction and we plan to spread the procedures

so that others can do this also.

TheActivity

Our group decided to have a one-day activity where everybody in our school can join and learn.

We ought to have a good idea where we can relay the

importance of DeforestAction while the students are having fun

also.
