We are so excited about our upcoming FEAST!

In order to put together a wonderful experience for all, there are many costs involved and as you know we lost a whole day last year due to bad weather. In order to help off-set some of the costs we are offering a SPONSORSHIP program. Any parish-ioner or local merchant who has a business or would like to sponsor a booth in their family name may do so. The price to be a sponsor ranges from $100-$1,000, depending on the size of the space and in-cludes a printed sign with the information you pro-vide us.

SPECIAL NEEDS MASS

TO BEGIN ON SEPTEMBER 18

St. Therese parish is happy to announce its third year of monthly Mass for children and adults with Special Needs. This is an invitation to all families in our communi-ty with Special Needs members and their family and friends to come together and celebrate the Eucharist with Father Sam. The Mass will be fol-lowed by refreshments.

Kick Off Family Mass You are invited to attend our regular 11:30 a.m. Mass on September 11th to celebrate the start of the new school year.

Parish Registration Every family participating regularly in the spiritual life of our parish is encouraged to register. In order to receive a Certificate of Eligibility to be a Godparent/Sponsor for Baptism or Confirmation, you must be a practicing Catholic, registered parishioner and attend Mass regularly.

The RCIA is a process for individuals, ages 18 and over. We invite ... those who have never been baptized those who have been baptized in other Christian Churches and want to become members of the Catholic Church those who have been baptized in the Catholic Church, but never received the Sacraments of Confirmation and/or Holy Eucharist

Sharing God’s Blessings Our latest total of pledges for our Archdiocesan Sharing God’s Blessings Annual Appeal is currently $37,570, which is 54% of our goal of $69,095. If you have not done so already, we invite you to make a pledge by filling out a form, located at the doors of the church. Please help us to reach our goal.

STAR-FEST VII On Sunday, September 18 at 3:30, Hook Moun-tain will be alive with the sound of music, echoing from the lawn of Marydell Faith and Life Center, 640 North Midland Avenue in Upper Nyack. This concert will benefit One to One Learning, a min-istry of the Dominican Sisters of Sparkhill, that provides free instruction in English. Tickets: $30 pre-paid; $35 at the door. From Grief to Hope Are you struggling with grief because of the death of a spouse, child, parent, relative or friend? Begin-ning Thursday, September 8th, 2016 at 7:30pm, Our Lady of the Visitation Parish Bereavement Ministry will be offering a weekly program to help people understand grief, cope with it, and strength-en their hope. These sessions are open to all grieving people, their relatives, their friends, and those in the helping professions. The sessions are held year round in the comfortable surroundings of our parish rectory dining room, located at 234 Far-view Ave., Paramus.
