TRANSCRIPT
In Italy 70% of people own a private car; only 26% use public transport. This involves a big atmospheric pollution and other effects: on the people and on the environment.
Effects on humans:
• Breathing difficult
• Headache
Effects on the environment:
• Greenhouse effect
• Acid rain
• Euro 4 and 5, methane , hydrogen, electric cars
• Methane or electric public transports
• Car sharing
• Bike sharing
• Speed of movement
• Knocking down transport costs
• Flexiblility
• Reduction of CO2 emissions
• Reduction of noise
• Physical exercise
Bike sharing is spreading in a lot of European Cities, but some cities are not organized about this phenomenon. In fact there are no cycling lanes. In case there are some, they are not connected togheter and they seem to be there by chance.
A lot of transport companies are starting to use ecological buses fed by methane, hydrogen or electricity.
This leads to a reduction in the emissions of polluting gases and the price of transport. Buses are cleaner, they will become more frequent and more people will use them thus reducing air pollution.
