SRA-LGAREC Hosts NationalIn-house Review

SRA-LGAREC hosted this years SRA-National In-house Review and Planning Workshopon June 4-5, 2004.

Research and extension personnel fromNegros-Panay Region and the SRA-LARECattended the 2-day annual review and planning.

The review of researches was conducted onthe first day. Mrs. Cresenciana L. Morales and Mr.Arthur Magnaye presented the synthesis of localpre in-house reviews while Mr. Marcelino M.Guevarra presented the summary of the previousyears national review. Papers presented were:

R. Gumasing or UPLBCA-Research and TrainingStation; Mr.Teodulfo V. Infante, sugar planter; andMr. Oscar T. Quilloy, coordinator of RDE of SRA.

The first day ended with a dinner andfellowship highlighting the announcement of BestPapers and awarding of certificates. This yearsbest papers were:

Development Center (LGARDC) hosted this yearsWESVARRDEC Sectoral review, conducted atSRA-LGAREC on May 27-28, 2004.

Dr. Rodrigo E. Tapay, CESO IV andManager III, SRA-Negros and Panay welcomedthe participants.

Attended by researchers and extensionistsfrom WESVARRDEC member-agencies, thesectoral review included eighteen paperpresentations on various crops and animalstudies.

Four papers were presented by SRA-LGAREC, namely:
