WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN HEMP AND MARIJUANA?

In short, hemp is de�ned in the 2014 Federal Farm Bill as any part

of the Cannabis sativa L. plant, growing or not, that contains less

than 0.3% of ∆-9 THC on dry weight basis. Anything else above

that 0.3% threshold is considered marijuana.

ARE HEMP SEED OIL AND WHOLE-PLANT HEMP EXTRACT OIL THE SAME?

No. Hemp seed oil is rich in omega fatty acids but contains low

levels of CBD or none at all. Charlotte's Web hemp extract is made

from the whole plant, while hemp seed oil is made from the seeds.

IS IT POSSIBLE TO TEST POSITIVE ON A DRUG TEST FROM USING CHARLOTTE'S WEB PRODUCTS?

Much like the consumption of poppy seeds may lead to a positive

drug test for opioids, the consumption of certain hemp products

may lead to a positive drug test for tetrahydrocannabinol (THC).

THC is inherently present in trace amounts in hemp plants. The

legal limit of THC in hemp is no more than 0.3%. Furthermore, the

underlying science behind the conversion of certain cannabinoids,

for example cannabidiol (CBD), when consumed, to other related

cannabinoids, for example THC, is not yet fully understood.

Although the risk is low, because of individual biochemistry, the

possibility of conversion of cannabinoids, and the possibility of

trace (but legal) amounts of THC inherent in hemp products, we

strongly suggest consulting your healthcare provider before

consuming any hemp products if you are subject to drug testing.

WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN CBD ISOLATE AND WHOLE-PLANT EXTRACT?

Whole-plant extract contains a variety of over 400 compounds

like cannabidiol (CBD), secondary phytocannabinoids, terpenoids,

terpenes, and �avonoids. CBD isolate is only the single compound,

cannabidiol.

ARE HEMP PRODUCTS PSYCHOACTIVE?

No.

APPROXIMATE CBD BREAKDOWNS ARE AS FOLLOWS:

Oils: Full Strength 6.67 mg CBD per mL, Extra Strength 16.67 mg

CBD per mL, Max 60 mg CBD per mL. Capsules: 15 mg 8.5 mg CBD

WHEN CAN I EXPECT TO SEE RESULTS?

Each person is di�erent and will have a di�erent amount of

cannabinoid receptors (CB receptors). Therefore, those with large

amounts of CB receptors and an active endocannabinoid system

(ECS) might see results immediately, while those people with lower

amounts of CB receptors might take up to 4 weeks or more to �nd

the results they are looking for. Since the ECS works on saturation,

we suggest starting LOW AND SLOW and after a few weeks, if

desired benefits have not been achieved, step up to the next

strength or increase suggested serving size.

Our Non-GMO hemp is grown outdoors using organic and

responsible farming methods on family farms in the US, currently in

CO, KY, and OR.

WHY ARE THERE DIFFERENT AMOUNTS OF HEMP EXTRACT IN THE FULL AND EXTRA STRENGTH OILS DEPENDING ON FLAVOR, AND ARE THEY STILL THE SAME STRENGTH?

We use two di�erent types of extraction methods, IPA (alcohol) and

CO2, which result in the varying hemp extract content between the two

formulations. Olive oil and MCT oil may have di�erent hemp extract

mg per mL due to the extraction method used. Regardless of the

extraction method used, the strength will be the same due to the

consistency and stability of our proprietary hemp genetics.
