IMPORTANT SCHEDULE CHANGE There has been a change in the previously scheduled Early Release day on Friday, February 22nd. This will now be a FULL day OFF of school. Monday, February 25th will be a FULL day IN
school. Please be sure to change your calendars.
BRAWL FOR THE BALL The 8th Grade Boys Brawl for the Ball Basketball tournament will be January 8, 10, and 12 at the Mequon gym. Games will run from 5:00 – 9:00 on Tuesday and Thursday, and 5:30 – 9:30 on
Saturday night. Come for the game, stay for dinner! Lumen Christi students wearing LC spirit wear will get into the games for free!

OPEN HOUSE AND SPAGHETTI DINNER Please join us for our Mequon open house

HELP US KEEP OUR SCHOOL SAFE When you exit the building, please check the
door and make sure it locks behind you. This applies when school is in session as well as when
you are in the building after hours for sports or parish events. Please help us by pulling on the door after it closes to make sure it is locked. Thank you for helping us keep our school safe!
BOOT BAGS AVAILABLE IN BOTH SCHOOL OFFICES Boot bags are still available
at both school offices for $5.00. Please stop in and get a boot bag for your child’s winter items!

Help make Shamrock 2013 Finnegan’s Fortune Raffle a success. How? Donate on your own or

All families with children in 3K-5th grade received Lumen Christi referral business cards so you can help us spread the Spirit of Lumen Christi. Please give these to your family, friends, neighbors, co-workers, or anyone else who may be interested in finding out more about Lumen
Christi Catholic School. Be sure to put YOUR name on the referred by line and have the prospective family return the referral card at our Open House on January 27th - you could win a Sendik's gift card! Additional referral cards are available in both school offices. We sincerely

WE ARE ALL PARENT AMBASSADORS! As we enter into our next recruitment season,
our current parents are our best ambassadors. We’d like you to spread the word about Lumen
Christi Catholic School to your friends, neighbors, and family. Through your child's classroom teacher (3K-5th), you will receive some Lumen Christi Catholic School business cards to help make prospective families aware of our school and upcoming Open House. Please remember to
put your name on the “Referred By” line, as we will be having a drawing for a Sendik’s gift card after our Open House for those families who have made referrals. There are additional referral
cards available through the school offices.
