Lecture by ELSE MARIE BUKDAHLElse Marie Bukdahl is an affiliated professor at the University of Aalborg, Denmark, a member of The Royal Danish and Norwegian Society of Sciences and Letters, the former president of the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts (1985-2005) and a former professor at the University of Aarhus. Professor Bukdahl was selected as one of the leading educators of the world by International Biographical Centre, Cambridge and is an Officier des Palmes Académiques and Chevalier de l’Ordre des Arts et des Lettres, Paris. Her many publications span the fields of visual art, literature, and philosophy. Her most recent book, The Recurrent Actuality of the Baroque (2017), is a comparative method of study based on recent research in art theory and aesthetics. Reception following lecture.
