Welcome students and guests to our FIFTH ANNUAL One Day Immersion (ODI) in Media, Entertainment & Technology conference, in association with Pace University’s Lubin School of Business, supported by the Emma Bowen Foundation. ODI is super excited to return to the Schimmel Center in New York City.

One Day Immersion is an equal opportunity, shared learning experience for a diverse community of media and technology students and executives. We have a robust program filled with informative, idea-charged discussions and networking opportunities. Student participants receive a series of keynotes, speeches, interviews, interactive networking sessions and workshops from some of the smartest people in the business.

I’m proud of the diverse group of speakers and topics we’ll deliver today, including a keynote from top media leader—Jeff Bewkes, Chairman and CEO, Time Warner Inc. In addition, we’ll kick off the morning with a recruiting team from Comcast NBCUniversal, sharing insight and opportunity within their company; we’ll host an expanded lunch break with three networking opportunities; two breakout topics; and something new to help keep our energy high—iHeartMedia is our Music Entertainment Partner for the day.

As I remind you every year, each of you brings something very special and unique to the table. If you haven’t figured out what that is, you will. Keep your minds open and try to make at least five new contacts today, not only with the speakers, but with your peers. Those social introductions could turn into long-lasting and important networking opportunities.

Thank you for being here today and for your wonderful support!

Warmest regards,

— Dolly Wolf, Owner and Producer

My amazing connections from ODI spans executives, faculty, and students. These three young men are prime examples of students who wanted to be a bigger part of ODI, and offered their time, expertise and ideas to me. They’ve taken on some of the important parts of producing this conference, while having a full load of classes, internships, friends, and all the extra activities that consume a college student who’s trying to make the leap from classroom to work place.

Santino Fernandez, is a senior focusing on media and film, at St. Edwards University in Austin, he’s my ODI Social Media Intern, and multi-year ODI Student Star.

Nick Gordon is a senior focusing on arts and entertainment management, with a minor in special events management, and second year ODI Student (Super) Star Co-Lead.

Jake Cameron, is a sophomore focusing on arts & entertainment management, and quantitative business analysis, a second year ODI Student—with a promotion to Co-Lead for 2017, and one of the students who joined our programming committee to help develop the Social Influencer panel.

Thank you, gentlemen for reaching out, providing an exceptional work ethic, and for your amazing support.
