KUALA LUMPURTHE SKY & THE GROUND

Advancements in technology allow for a seamless growth from ground to sky in Kuala Lumpur achieving greater heights almost quite literally. In the heart of Kuala Lumpur, lies Bukit Bintang, where buildings no longer spread outwards instead they grow vertically towards what the People of the Ground consider, the Sky. However, buildings that grow beyond the Sky remain unknown to the People of The Ground in the fear that they may never return to land.

Beyond the Sky, lie the People of The Sky who overlook the greater city and are the brains of the city. Deaths, destruction and seemingly instantaneous reactions are the doings of the People of The Sky to maintain order in the city keeping the People of The Ground free from unpredictability.

The People of the Ground have been told that the lights in the Sky signify the occurrence of change in the city not knowing that these star-like lights are luminaires radiating from windows from beyond the Sky. It is through these signals that the two communities of Sky and Ground are able to ensure a stable growth in the city. The People of the Ground provide the workforce needed to execute change and the People of The Sky initiate the change when deemed appropriate.

However, the two must never meet for the People of The Sky have the knowledge to bring destruction to the city and the People of The Ground have a reputation in misinterpreting information which, like before, resulted in ultimate destruction.
