EDUCATION

When children are equipped with the tools they need to succeed in school, they can focus on aiming for A’s and building a better future for their families and communities.

HEALTH

When children are healthy, they’re less likely to miss school or drop out. And when parents are free of illness, family businesses are more likely to thrive.

OPPORTUNITY

With workshops on running successful farms and businesses, families have what they need to become self-sustaining, develop new entrepreneurial skills and invest in their children’s futures.

FOOD

If female farmers had the same resources as male farmers, up to 150 million more people would be fed! We teamed up with PotashCorp, founding sponsor of our Food Pillar, to implement agriculture and food security programs.

Our development model

WE VillagesA sustainable community is one where families have the knowledge and skills to be self-reliant. This holiday season, help empower a community to break the cycle of poverty by supporting WE Villages, our holistic and sustainable development model.

GIVE A GIFT THAT REPLENISHES

Walking for Water in KenyaWalking for hours under the scorching sun

to fetch water for cooking, cleaning and drinking is a reality for many women in Kenya. Patricia Leshoi, a farmer and grandmother in Irkaat, was used to spending three hours a day walking to the Ewaso Ng’iro River to fetch water for her family. Despite her back pain, the long hours it took and unsuccessful trips with little to no water, Patricia never gave up. She continued making the trip every day because it was what she had to do so her family could survive. Thanks to your support, Patricia only walks 20 minutes now to access the clean water kiosk installed in her community with the help of WE Villages programming. Both she and her family’s health and financial situation have significantly improved, as they are no longer making regular trips to the hospital to get treatment for waterborne diseases. Patricia’s greatest wish is to see everyone in her community living a comfortable life. With your support, we are continuing to make this possible.

WATER

$250Clean water for a family for life

By providing a family with clean water, you open the door to a world of opportunities. With access to clean water, families can send their girls to school, grow crops and

help prevent the spread of waterborne illnesses. Give a lifetime of good health and

cheer with water this year.

$1,000Rehabilitation of a community well

Many wells in developing communities need further construction to make them suitable for the agricultural needs of the community.

By supporting the rehabilitation of a community well, you can help communities gain access to safe, clean water for drinking,

cooking, farming and household needs.

$100 Clean water kiosk for a community

Walking for hours to fetch water creates a long list of issues for families. By helping to support the creation of a clean water kiosk, families are able to fetch water in their communities, allowing children to

attend school and helping families practice good hygiene.
