How will I get work out of this?
• Information – Diagnosis – Brokerage model
• Up to client/consultant or both to deliver
• Business Link adviser will identify a number of consultants who can deliver
• Up to client as to who they choose (Business Link remain impartial)
• Consultants need to register on ‘SMS’
• Voucher scheme – linked to carbon potential….
• BL contract with the client – not consultant
How will I get work out of this?
• Voucher scheme – ‘funding of last resort’
Revenue vouchers can be used for consultancy, training, research
• 50% match funded by company, average value £2.5k,
Capital vouchers – energy and resource efficient equipment
• Capital Vouchers – 50% match funded by company, average value £6666.
• All vouchers must be approved by panel
• All vouchers have 12 month shelf life
What’s the catch?
• As with all ERDF programmes there are eligibility restrictions -
SME SectoralCapacity for growth
• Ineligible business = no voucher
• Discuss with adviser as early as possible to avoid disappointment
• Business will have to dedicate time to project (and money for the voucher)
