EN ALGUNAS REGIONES,PAÍSES Y PROVINCIAS, NO SE PERMITE LA EXCLUSIÓNDE DAÑOS FORTUITOS O DERIVADOS, POR LO QUE ESPOSIBLE QUE ESTA RESTRICCIÓN NO SEA APLICABLE ENEL CASO DEL USUARIO.Si durante el periodo de garantía, el usuario solicita un serviciode garantía de acuerdo con esta Garantía limitada, Garminllevará a cabo, según su criterio, una de las siguientesopciones: (i) reparar el dispositivo utilizando piezas nuevas opiezas usadas con anterioridad que cumplan con losestándares de calidad de Garmin; (ii) sustituir el dispositivo porun dispositivo nuevo o un dispositivo restaurado que cumplacon los estándares de calidad de Garmin; (iii) cambiar eldispositivo por un reembolso completo equivalente al precio decompra. ESTE RECURSO SERÁ ÚNICO Y EXCLUSIVO ENCASO DE INCUMPLIMIENTO DE LA GARANTÍA. Losdispositivos reparados o sustituidos tienen una garantía de 90días. Si la unidad enviada está cubierta por la garantía original,la nueva garantía es de 90 días o hasta el final del periodo degarantía original de un año, siendo aplicable el periodo demayor duración.Antes de solicitar el servicio de garantía, el usuario deberáacceder a los recursos de ayuda en línea disponibles en support.garmin.com y consultarlos. Si el dispositivo sigue sinfuncionar correctamente después de hacer uso de estosrecursos, se deberá contactar con un centro de servicioautorizado de Garmin del país donde se realizó la compra, obien seguir las instrucciones disponibles en

Si elusuario se encuentra en Estados Unidos, también puede llamaral 1-800-800-1020.Si se desea solicitar el servicio de garantía en un país distintode donde se realizó la compra, Garmin no puede garantizarque las piezas y los productos necesarios para reparar osustituir el producto estén disponibles debido a las diferenciasen las ofertas de productos y los estándares, leyes ynormativas de aplicación. En ese caso, Garmin puede, a suentera discreción y según las leyes aplicables, reparar osustituir el producto con productos y piezas de Garminequiparables, o solicitar al usuario que envíe su producto a uncentro de servicio autorizado de Garmin del país donde serealizó la compra o un centro de servicio autorizado de Garminde otro país que pueda realizar el mantenimiento de suproducto, en cuyo caso el usuario será responsable de cumplircon todas las leyes y normativas de importación y exportación,así como de realizar el pago de todos los impuestos deaduanas, IVA, gastos de envío y otros impuestos y gastosasociados. En algunos casos, es posible que Garmin y susdistribuidores no puedan realizar el mantenimiento del productodel usuario en un país distinto de donde se realizó la compra, odevolver un producto reparado o sustituido en tal país debido alos estándares, leyes o normativas vigentes en el mismo.Adquisiciones por subastas en línea: no se aceptan lasconfirmaciones de subastas en línea como comprobante degarantía. Para recibir asistencia dentro del periodo de garantía,se necesita el original o una copia de la factura delestablecimiento de compra original. Garmin no sustituirá
