IMPORTANT NOTE TO PARENTS

What did Caleb say about the Promised Land? Read Numbers 13:30.

Why were the other spies so afraid? What creature did they compare themselves to? Read Numbers 13:31-33.

When the people refused to enter Canaan, who were they rejecting? Read Psalm 106:21-25.

If you saw God do amazing miracles in the past, would you trust Him to care for you in the future? Read Psalm 22:23-24.

That psalm was written by King David about 500 years after Caleb and Joshua lived. As a young shepherd boy, David faced a giant named Goliath. Do you think he acted out of faith or fear? Read 1 Samuel 17:32-37, 41-50.

What did Chris’s teammates ask him to do, and why was he tempted to help them? The Bible doesn’t mention soccer, but do you think it talks about cheating? Read Leviticus 19:11.

How did the Israelites escape from slavery in Egypt? Read Exodus 14:29-30.

How did God provide food and water for all of those people in the desert? Exodus 16:11-15, 17:1-6.

Why did Moses send twelve spies into Canaan? Read Numbers 13:1-3.

What did Moses tell the spies to find out? Read Numbers 13:17-20.

Although God forgave the Israelites, how did He discipline them for rebelling against Him? Read Numbers 14:30-34.

Forty years later, Joshua led a new generation of Israelites into the Promised Land. What happened at Jericho when they trusted God and blew their trumpets? Read Joshua 6:2-5.

Before he died, Joshua gave the people one last reminder about something very important. What do you think he told them? Read Joshua 23:14.

Sadly, all of us have disobeyed God and rebelled against Him. Yet He sent someone else to take the punishment for our sins! Do you know who? Read 1 Corinthians 15:4.

When we ask Jesus into our hearts, do we only get a few of God’s promises? Read 2 Corinthians 1:20-21.

SPIES GIANTS PROMISES

PRAY Heavenly Father, help us to notice how You provide everything we need each day—and to be grateful. We pray in Jesus’ name. Amen.

PRAY Lord, You are more powerful than any problem we could ever face. Help us trust in You always! Amen.

PRAY Dear Jesus, thank You for dying on the cross to take the punishment for our sins. Help us live each day for Your glory! Amen.
