COVID-19 at Oakmonte Here’s What You Need To Know
The Oakmonte Homeowner’s Association and
Leadership Management are following the recommendations and orders of the Center for Disease Control (CDC) and
the Governor of Michigan Gretchen Whitmer.
Collection Day is Monday!
Trash pickup has changed to every Monday, and recycling pickup to Monday on every odd week.
Please see attached calendar from WM, and be sure your collection items are out by 6 AM on pick-up day.

1. We are all in this situation together. 2. Walking pets and getting exercise is permitted and
encouraged. Remember to practice social distancing with at least six feet between you and your neighbor(s).
3. Waste stations are still available and being maintained during this time, and we appreciate everyone caring for our neighborhood by cleaning up after their pets.
4. Waving and sharing a friendly greeting from afar is a safe way to remind others they are not alone.
5. With more residents home during the day, there is more activity, so please follow the posted speed limits and keep your eyes open for walkers, runners and bicyclists.
6. The clubhouse, fitness room and pool are temporarily closed and will reopen when it is safe to do so. The hand scanner has been disabled during this time.
7. Following a directive from the Oakland County Sheriff’s Department on 4/9/20, the basketball and tennis courts are temporarily closed and will reopen when it is safe to do so.
8. For those who are wearing gloves and carrying a small trash bag on your walks and feel comfortable picking up trash or pulling ugly weeds, we thank you.

Pool and Fitness Room - Temporarily Closed The pool and fitness room are for the community’s enjoyment and will reopen when it is safe to do so.

Annual Plantings Thank you for your interest in adding annuals to your flower beds. You are welcome to plant annuals in your designated area when you maintain them throughout the season and remove them after the second frost. Coordinating with your neighbors is recommended.

Leadership Management Requests Hand scan requests, clubhouse rental and work orders are handled during regular business hours: 9 AM to 5 PM. During this restricted time, hand scan requests and clubhouse rentals are temporarily suspended. Work orders should be directed to Leadership Management.

Clubhouse Rental - Temporarily Suspended The clubhouse is available for rent by co-owners. Forms are available on the website and by the door to fitness room/pool.

1. Salt distribution for water softeners is considered essential
and will be conducted with the utmost care and caution for everyone involved.
2. Roof and chimney repairs will continue once the “Stay Home, Stay Safe” order is lifted, and contractors can return to work safely.
3. Landscaping maintenance and flower planting will resume once the “Stay Home, Stay Safe” order is lifted, and our staff and contractors can return to work safely.
