It is very important that parents/guardians take time to

read the school newsletter each month.

If you are NOT interested in receiving a paper copy of the Betty Gibson newsletter

as you are viewing it on our webpage, please let the office know.

Also, as an incentive for the students to take home their newsletters, you may enter your family for

a free pizza voucher donated by Little Caesars Pizza. Newsletters are sent home on the 1st school

day of the month with the oldest/only child in the family.

The draw will be made 1st thing, the morning of the 5th school day of the month.

Entries can be brought to the office. One entry per family.

BG Staff were treated with so many days of treats!

The Parent Council on behalf of the parents of Betty Gibson School

surprised the staff with 5 days of amazing treats. There was a Beverage

Bar, a Breakfast Bar, a Snack Bar, a Dessert Bar and a Baked Potato

Bar. The staff of Betty Gibson would like to thank all the parents and

the Parent Council for such an amazing gift. The laughter, the

fellowship and the delicious surprises were so appreciated.

Miss Sambrook and Miss Taylor’s 2/3 classes have been learning about Sleep in

Theme 5 of the Roots of Empathy Program. Baby Bexley and Baby Harper are growing and changing so fast! The biggest

news is that they are both rolling around and sitting with support now.

We are so excited to see the changes!

MUSIC MONDAY CONCERT Monday May 2 @ 2:30

Our music program is excited to announce

our first Music Monday Concert! In the past

we have had an assembly for Music Monday in which all

BG students would see each class perform a musical

selection.

This year we would like to extend the invitation to all

our families to come join us!

Concert is set to begin at 2:30 and will be done by 3:30 for

the dismissal of school.

We look forward to seeing you there!
