Principal�’s Message jlsalley@atlanta.k12.ga.us The first couple of months of school have been packed with lots of fun and great learning oppor-tunities for our students at Kimberly Elementary School. This year we are focused on improving the quality of education that your children re-ceive. Students are being pushed hard in class, and teachers are being pushed hard along with them. As you are aware there are a number of new initi-atives this year. One of our new initiatives is our schoolwide discipline plan called PBIS (Positive Behavior Intervention Supports). Along with the Choice Cards, students will be recognized at our first Top Bee celebration that will recognize students that have not received any Ns or Us on their Choice Card. This celebration will take place during Specials (Art, Music, PE) on Thursday, October 10th. Check with your child to see if they will be attending. _____________________ The Kimberly Elementary School Council is in need of an additional Parent Representative.
