• Nano technology has the potential to make construction cheaper,faster,easier n safer

• Nano coatings are done for protection against heat insulation ,fire ,and corrosion

• Nano silica and clinker used to increase densification and hence mechanical properties and durability of cementations materials.

• Used as building materials for wood, floors ,stone, roof tile, facade tiles, etc…

Information Technology

• The storage capacity of the disk can be improved dramatically

• Nanoparticles are used for information storage

• Nano dimensional “photonic crystals” are used in chemical/optical computers

• “Quantum electronic devices” have started replacing bulky conventional devices

• Nano crystalline Zinc selenide,Zinc Sulphide,Cadmium Sulphide and lead telluride synthesized by sol-gel techniques are candidates for nxt5 generation of light emitting phosphors

technology. Diffusion of medicine through nanao pores polymer reservoir as per the requirement is very useful in controlling the disease

• Nanostructured ceramics readily interact with bone and hence finds application as an implant material

• Biosensitive nano particles are used for tagging of “DNA and DNA chips”

• Used as agents in cancer therapy• Nano crystalline zirconium oxide used as

“alternative materials for implants”

• Bacteria identification n food quality identification using biosensors
