Above: Holy Rosary Credit Union opens a part-time branch in a low-income community to combat predatory lenders by partnering with local and national housing leaders.

Mission: To invest in and through credit unions to enhance their ability to serve their members and their community.

Vision: To be the standard of excellence in philanthropy,

empowering credit unions to improve people’s lives.

From the Chairman: The Heartland Credit Union Charitable Foundation (HCUCF) is evolving to serve the needs of Missouri and Kansas credit unions through capacity building grants and scholarships as well as community development initiatives. The Foundation is a catalyst for the credit union movement, investing in credit unions and their programs that change lives and transform communities. On the following pages you will see a snapshot of our impact across the region in 2017. Thank you to the credit unions, organizations, and individuals that supported HCUCF in 2017. Your support helped us achieve our mission. I hope you will join me in continuing to support HCUCF as it deepens and expands its investment in the credit union industry in 2018.
