entertainment and of course hanging out on a holiday – all under the same roof”

Delhi is slowly catching up with rest of the world in terms of market openness and globalization. It's been only a decade and half and the signs can be seen in cities.

Arguably, Shopping Malls are the visible witness of that change. Wherever you go in Delhi, you will find some or other glittering mall. Due to the emergence of the 'Great Indian Middle Class', the country is witnessing a kind of retail revolution and shopping malls are coming up like

mushrooms, to cash in that revolution.

The companies with superior resources would muscle out the ones inferior to them. Monopolization of the organized retail sector In India, the emergence of shopping malls has mostly altered the lifestyle of the consumers. With the growth in income, changing attitudes, and also the demographic patterns favor the emergence of shopping malls.

Easily accessible hangout places Increase in job oppurtunities for the youth due to intervention of MNC’s in retail business. pleasant shopping atmosphere minimizes hectic shopping. It saves time by bringing together varied varieties of brands, cuisines and entertainment through movies under one roof. youth is becoming major part of total consumerism. Being comfortable , stylish and cool , malls easily attract vogue savvy youth in search of elegance and style.
