Who would have thought threedecades ago that National Christian

Foundation would see over$3 billion granted to more than30,000 churches and ministries?

Thanks to your unprecedentedgenerosity, we saw this milestonecome to pass in 2011, as well asmany others that surpassed what wecould have ever hoped or imagined. Here are some highlights:

Contributions from givers in2011 grew 9% over 2010 for a

total of $660 million. We distributed $505 million in

grants at the recommendationof the givers we serve, up 29%compared to the previous year.

Cash, stock, and asset-based(businesses, real estate, etc.)contributions were up 2%, 6%,and 28% respectively in 2011.

Perhaps most remarkable is thespeed at which these milestones are

occurring. Consider the chart to theright.Inourrstdecade,$12millionin grants went to charities. In oursecond, $425 million left our doors. And in our third, that numberreached $2.6 billion!

Clearly, the momentum of thegenerosity movement is build-ing, and the work of GodsKingdom is gaining ground.

    Through your faithful giving,

more people are hearing theGood News of the Gospel, more hungry are receivingfood, more hurting are beinghealed, more marriages aregrowing stronger, more hopeis surfacing in the hopeless ...all in the name of Jesus, all forHis glory.

God is on the move in the hearts ofour givers like you, and were privi-

leged that youre part of this jour-ney. Heres to another record year ofunprecedented generosity!

Giving through NCF continues to gain momentum as we celebrate our 30th Anniversary this year

So much of what weve come toaccept as the truth about moneymay not be based on the Bible. In his new book, The Truth AboutMoney Lies, Russ Crosson useseveryday stories of men and womenstrugglingwithcommonnancialdecisions to examine what the Biblehas to say about our relationship

with money. As President and CEO of RonaldBlue&Co.andaleadingnancialconsultant for more than 30 years,Russ has written another excellentbookonhowtomakewisenancialdecisions. Its especially importantfor young couples just starting out,

and its a great resource for anyonewhod like to avoid the dangerousnancialtrapsandluresofourmodern world.

What if we could glorify God by creating a charitablefoundation that would make giving simpler and more

effective for Christian givers? Thats the question ourfounders Larry Burkett, Ron Blue, and Terry Parker dared to ask in 1982, and as a result, more than$3 billion has been granted to Kingdom work overthe past three decades.

As we celebrate our 30th anniversary this year, we arestill pondering the question,What if? What if wecould help mobilize an unprecedented abundance ofKingdom resources to accomplish every good work? What would that ultimately look like in the lost andhurting world we live in? What if ...

The number of people that have never heard theGospel waszero.

The number of children that die from water-relateddiseases was zero.

The number of people without a church was zero.

    The number of slaves waszero.

The number of Bible-less people was zero.

Has God abundantly resourced His Church to meetthese needs? We believe He has! In 2 Corinthians 9:8,

the apostle Paul said, And God is able to make allgraceaboundtoyou,sothatalwayshavingallsuf-ciency in everything, you may have an abundance forevery good deed.

In a time of dismal economic statistics, God needs men, women, and children who are not afraid to dream bigand go for the zeroes. May we always have the faith toask, What if?
