• Acompletestructuresothatthereisaprogressionthroughstagesleadingtoa conclusion.

The amount you write is not as important as the quality of your writing.

•Interesting and unusual ideas, stories, descriptions, arguments, depending on the type of writing.

•Language which is fluent and allows the reader to visualise exactly what the writer means using interesting and more complex sentence constructions, vocabulary and imagery.

•A complete structure so that there is a progression through stages leading to a conclusion.

•The amount you write is not as important as the quality of your writing.

•In the official test you will be told when to start and when to stop.

•You may first jot down any ideas or make a plan on a blank piece of paper.

•If you finish writing before the time is up, use the rest of the time to go over your work and make any changes you feel might improve it.
