Dr. Paluch-Shimon is a medical oncologist with a Masters in Epidemiology from the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine. She is director of the breast oncology unit at Shaare Zedek Medical Center in Jerusalem which is the only unit in Israel that currently includes a dedicated service for young women with breast cancer.

Peter Schmid was appointed as Chair in Cancer Medicine at Barts Cancer Institute, Queen Mary University London, in 2013. He is Clinical Director of the Breast Cancer Centre at the St. Bartholomew Cancer Centre and Honorary Consultant Medical Oncologist at Barts Hospital. Prof. Schmid’s specialist interests are breast cancer, cancer immune therapy and early drug development.

She is known for her work in women’s health – especially breast cancer, cervical cancer & developmental theraputics. With over 27 years of practice, Dr. Shona Nag, who studied medicine in Pune’s BJ Medical College, followed by an oncology fellowship at Tata Memorial Hospital in Mumbai has been Principal Investigator for over 40 Phase I, II, III global clinical Trials in Breast cancer, Ovarian cancer, lung cancer, Renal cell carcinoma, colorectal cancer.

Prof. Peters is currently in charge of teaching and patient care in the area of medical oncology and thoracic malignancies at the Department of Oncology of Lausanne University. She is co-chair of Swiss Lung Cancer Research group and an active member of the educational programme within ESMO. Prof. Peters is currently President (2021 – 2020) of the European Society for Medical Oncology (ESMO) and a member of the ESMO Faculty for Lung and Other Thoracic Cancers.
