How is it possible to feel safe in an urban situation?How can you sleep while there is people all around you?
Our concept and solution waselevation.
While wanting to make an cheap and While wanting to make an cheap and easy-to-build construction for sleeping, we had to take the mate-rials own ability for protection into consideration.
We ended up using 200,-(25 euros)per cocoon. This meant that the even though the materials could hold our weight, they werent bulletproof and had to be mounted out of reach for people on the ground.

Pulley: You adjust how public/private you want the cocoon to be. During daytime it can be a social spot on the ground, while at night you hoist yourself up to sleep safely.

MOUNTING The cocoons were fixed with nylonrope(breaking strength 950 kg)For extra security we used professional climbing equipment to double the joints for the cocoons, and also for ourselves while mounting them.
