FEASTOFEPIPHANY-BLESSINGOFHOLYWATERThecelebraLonconLnuesasUkrainianCatholicscelebratethebapLsmofourLordonJanuary6th(GregorianCalendar).ThiscelebraLonisalsocalledtheFesLvalofEpiphany.OnTuesday,January14,beginningat9:00A.M.IHMSwillhaveaprayerserviceintheschoolgymnasiumtoblesstheHolyWater.Partoftheprayerservicewillalsotakeplaceoutside,infrontofanicecross.Allparentsandfamiliesareencouragedtojoinusfortheprayerservice.
Followingtheblessingofthewater,ourSchoolChaplain,andachoirofstudentswillblesseachoftheroomsintheschool.EachclasswillwelcomeFathertotheir‘home’classroombypreparingasmalltable,coveredbyawhiteclothwithaniconandacandle.StudentsarewelcometotakeHolyWaterhome.TheyshouldbringacontainerwithaKghtsealtobringthewaterhomein.
