For customers currently using personalized settings with ver.302● No special operations are necessary. Simply follow the procedure and enable "Synchronize Custom

Settings".

● Personalized data that is currently registered will be synchronized as well.

● If a user enables "Synchronize Custom Settings" after using their personalized data on severalmachines, the data of the first machine to connect to the server machine will be applied. Thepersonalized data of client machines that connected afterwards will be overwritten by thepersonalized data of the first client machine to connect.

● Additional items and expansion of scope for the security policy

Items have been added and the scope has been expanded for the security policy function that applies/manages all settings for functions of the machine related to information security.

● Server authentication timeout time setting

A function has been added enabling users to specify the time limit for attempting to connect to theauthentication server and the time limit for waiting for a response.

● User information cache setting for keyboard authentication

A function has been added which caches user information entered during keyboard authentication, thusenabling users to use saved authentication information to log in to the machine when it cannot connect tothe server.

● Setting to delete users who have not logged in for a specified period

A function has been added which enables you to delete users registered in a local device who have notlogged in to the machine for a specified period of time.

● Allowing use of temporary cards for IC card authentication

A function has been added which enables users to associate a temporary card with their account andtemporarily log in to the machine if they have forgotten their card, etc.

● Disabling Administrator

A setting has been added to disable the administrator ("Administrator") account, thus enhancing security.

● Importing user information icon images

A function has been added which enables you to import icon images used by each user as part of the userinformation for personal authentication management.

● Specifying the timing for applying imported user information

A function has been added which enables users to choose when to reflect the user information sent fromother devices to the machine.
