THIS IMAGE TO BEGIN WITH HAS A LOT OF CHARACTER TO IT AS THE PROTAGONIST’S WEAPONS ARE VISIBLE AS THEY ARE LAID IN FRONT FO HIM, MAKING HIM SEEM SINISTER. THIS IS EFFECTIVE TOWARDS HIS PORTRAYAL AS THE AUDIENCE IDENTIFY HIM AS THE PROTAGONISTAS HE HAS WEAPONS AND IS HOLDING ONE.THE HAMMER AND SAW IS EFFECTIVE AS THEY ARE BOTH DANGEROUS AND HEAVY TOOLS THAT CAN LEAD TO SERIOUS INJURIES FAR WORSE THAN A KNIFE WOUND.THE FACT THAT HE IS USING DAY TO DAY BUILDERS TOOLS FOUND IN ASHED ALSO AIDS THE FEAR FACTOR OF THE FILM AS IT SHOWS THAT ANY ONE CAN BECOME A ‘FREDDY SHAW’ AND DO THINGS SIMILARTO HIM WITH THESE REGULAR WEAPONS. THIS ALSO MAKES THE IMAGEAPPEAR MORE REALISTIC TOO AS OTHER STALKER FILMS WOULD INCLUDE WEAPONS SUCH AS GUNS.

HOWEVER, I CHOSE TO EDIT THIS IMAGE AND TAKE OUT THE TRAY FULLOF OTHER WEAPONS AS THERE IS TOO MUCH GOING ON IN ONE IMAGE WHICH SUBVERTS FROM THE CONVENTIONS OF FILM POSTERS.THE BACKGROUND HAS ALSO BEEN REMOVED AS THE IMAGE WAS TAKEN IN AN INTERIOR SETTING NOT IDEAL FOR A POSTER.

THIS IMAGE HAS POTENTIAL TO BE USED IF THE BACKGROUND IS REMOVED. THE ANTAGONISTS MISE EN SCENE MAKES HER SEEM INNOCENT AND THEREFORE THE AUDIENCE CAN IDENTIFY HER AS ONE OF THE VICTIMS IN THE FILM.HER RED ATTIRE ALSO SUGGESTS HER NAIVITY AS HERCLOTHES SUGGEST THAT SHE IS A YOUNG WOMAN WITHINA SCHOOL ENVIRONMENT, THUS THE AUDIENCE WHO ARE 15 AND ABOVE CAN RELATE TO HER.

THIS IMAGE COULD HAVE BEEN USED IF THE PHOTOGRAPHY WAS EXECUTED BETTER.THIS IS BECAUSE THE ANGLE OF THE SHOT ISOBSCURE AND IT DOES NOT FOCUS ON HERFACIAL EXPRESSIONS AS MUCH AS THE OTHER IMAGES DO.

THIS IMAGE IS EFFECTIVE AS ALTHOUGH IT DOESSUBVERT TO SOME CONVENTIONS SUCH AS THE MODEL LOOKING TOWARDS THE CAMERA, IT STILL MANAGES TO CAPTIVATE THE AUDIENCEAS THE CAP AND JACKET MAKE HIM SEEM MYSTERIOUS. THE FACT THAT THE CAP HIDES HIS FACE INTRUQUES THE AUDIENCE AS THEY CAN TELLTHAT HE IS HIDING HIS IDENTITY FROM THEM.

THIS IMAGE SHOWS THE FEMALE MODEL FEELING ANXIOUS IN A ROOM FULL OF HER PEERS. THIS MAY SUGGEST THAT SHE IS BEING BULLIED OR IS LONELY. THE FACT THAT SHE IS GRIPPING AND ALMOST PULLING HER HAIR IMPLIES FRUSTRATION OR AGGRESSION. HOWEVER THIS IMAGE DOES NOT CLEARLY SHOW THE GENRE OF THE FILM THUS I WILL NOT BE USING IT.

THIS IMAGE WAS TAKEN WITH THE MODEL SITTING ON THE EDGE OF A TABLE. THE CAMERA WAS PLACED UNDER THE TABLE, THIS EFFECT IMPLIES THAT THE MODEL MAY BE HANGING AS HER LEGS ARE DANGLING LIKE SOMEONE WOULD IF THEY HUNG THEMSELVES.THIS IMAGE IS EFFECTIVE AS IF IT IS USED AS THE MAIN IMAGE ON A POSTER OR MAGAZINE, IT CAN APPEAL TO THE AUDIENCE AS THEY ARE CONFUSED AS TO WHY SOMEONE IS HANGING.

THIS IMAGE WAS TAKEN DURING MEDIA LESSONS AS PRACTISE FOR OUR POSTER OR MAGAZINE IDEAS.THIS IMAGE SHOWS FREDDY SITTING BEHIND MOLLY. THIS INSTANTLY INDICATES THE GENRE AS SHE IS UNAWARE THAT HE IS BEHIND HER. THE HOOD USED IS ALSO EFFECTIVE AS IT HIDES HIS IDENTITY WHICH IS WHAT ALL STALKERS DO.

THIS IMAGE SHOWS THAT THE ANTAGONIST IS AWARE THAT SOMEONE IS BEHIND HER AND MAY BE WATCHING HER. THE FEAR IN THE MODELS FACE SUGGESTS THAT SOMETHING MAY BE WRONG WHICH ATTRACTS THE AUDIENCE.

THE NATURAL LIGHTING USED FROM THE EXTERIOR SETTING MAKES THE MODEL AT THE FRONT SEEM MORE INNOCENT AS MORE LIGHT IS USED ON HER AND THE MODEL BEHIND HER IS IN DARKNESS WHICH RELATES TO HIS DARK, MYSTERIOUS CHARACTER.

HOWEVER IF THIS IMAGE WAS TO BE RE TAKEN, THE IMAGES OF THE MODELS WOULD BE TAKEN SEPERATELY AS THE CAMERA WAS ONLY ABLE TO FOCUS ON ONE MODEL AT A TIME.

THIS IMAGE INSPIRES ME AS IT SHOWS THAT THE FEMALE IS BEING FOLLOWED BY A LARGE HOODED CHARACTER HIDING HIS IDENTITY.

THIS ENABLES A FEAR FACTOR AS THERE IS NO ONE ELSE PRESENT ON THE SCENE WHICH IS OFTEN USED IN MANY OTHER STALKER FILMS.

HOWEVER THE LIGHTING USED WITHIN THE BUILDING MAKES IT DIFFICULT TO USE THE IMAGE AS THE MODELS FACE IS ORANGE. IDEALLY IT SHOULD BE REPEATED IN A STUDIO.

THIS IMAGE WAS ONE OF MY FAVOURITES AS ALTHOUGH IT IS BLURRED, THE EMOTIONS OF BOTH CHARACTERS ARE VISIBLE. THE BLURRED LENS CAN ALSO BE USED AS AN ADVANTAGE AS IT DISFIGURES THE MODELS FACES WHICH MAKES THEM APPEAR TO BE MORE MYSTERIOUS AS YOU CANNOT MAKE OUT THEIR PHYSICAL FEATURES CLEARLY.

THE MODEL AT THE FRONT SEEMS TO BE LOOKING AT THE CAMERA WHEREAS THE MODEL BEHIND HER IS LOOKING AT HER RATHER THAN THE AUDIENCE. THIS IS EFFECTIVE AS IT SUGGESTS THAT SHE IS TRYING TO CONNECT WITH THE AUDIENCE SO SHE IS THE ANTAGONIST.

I WILL BE USING THIS IMAGE IDEA AND RECREATE IT BY TAKING PICTURES OF THE MODELS SEPERATELY SO THEIR FACIAL EXPRESSIONS ARE MORE VISIBLE.
