Many of the activities are suitable for all sections. Some sections are coded according to the guide below.
This is only a guide and you should tailor the activities to the abilities of the girls in your unit
Each section is required to complete the following amount of challenges:

Who Am I?This game is suitable for all and is great fun!
Before the meeting, the leader writes the name ofa celebrity on a post-it note (a different one
for each player). This is then stuck to thegirls’ head so she can’t see it. The player
then has to guess who she is by askingquestions (Yes/No answers only)
Guess Who?Can you guess who these celebrities are?
Glitz & Glamour!Have a celebrity themed evening - here are some ideas:
� Hold your own Awards Ceremony -You could have a red carpet; holdvotes for Awards such as Funniest
Guide, Drama Queen etc
� Put on your own Fashion Show -You could visit local Charity Shops and put togetheroutfits which represent the bargains that can be
found; Design and make your own clothes; Parade yourfavourite outfits; or try making outfits from junk
� Pamper session - Treat yourself to amanicure, facial or foot massage. You couldlearn the techniques and treat someone else
� Paparazzi are a common feature incelebrities’ lives - Have a photoshoot, learn
photography or create your owncelebrity gossip magazine

Bush Foot SpaCan you locate the stars in this freaky
foot spa?
You will need:
� Washing up bowls filled with a yukky things e.g. Custard, flour, sand, water, sago,shaving foam, jelly, angel delight, hay
� Plastic Bugs (in the bowls too)
� Plastic Stars (in the bowls)
The aim of the game is forgirls to earn stars/points
for their team by getting as manystars as they canout of the bowls using their feet.
Frightful FacialYour pores won’t thank you for this - but
your team-mates will when you get the stars!
You will need:A long piece of string tied across the room or game area with
apples hanging from it (apples should be tied on using lengths of stringattached to the stalk). Each apple should be coated in syrup.
Rice Krispies in a bowl with bugs and stars / Jelly (mashed up) with bugs andstars / Water and leaves with bugs and stars
The aim of the game is for girls to reach up for the apples, using only their mouths. They need to grip the appleswith their teeth and pull it from the string (should be easy enough as only tied to the stalk in order
to hang). Their faces will be coated in syrup. Next the girls search for stars in the rice krispies,using only their mouths. They do the same with the jelly and water... And any other gooey
mixture you can make!

Make Mud Pudding (chocolate angel-delight with gooey edible worms, and
icing leaves)
Have a blindfolded tasting session withlots of yukky foods e.g. Baby food,
olives in icing, cold spaghetti etc - Letyour imagination run WILD!

BalloonBonanza
You will need:Balloons filled with gooey
mixtures, or bird seedand plastic bugs, and stars in the odd one or two
String to hang the balloons up around theroom or in trees
Pins for popping balloons
Aim of the game:Girls should stand under the balloons and pop
them, releasing the gooey mixtures onto theirheads, then they should rummage around for
stars to score points!
Edible Poo!Just a bit of a laugh!
Ingredients
Shredded Wheat,Chocolate, Chocolate
Brownies ,Jelly beans ormarshmallows
Method
Melt the chocolate and add the crushed upshredded wheat to form a stiff mixture.Add the chopped upbrownies, and jelly
beans/marshmallows.Mould the mixture into desired shape and allow
to set. Serve as part of a bush tucker trial!
Bizarre BoxesCan you find the stars hidden within these boxes?
You will need:Cardboard boxes (with hole just big enough for a
girls hands to go through) filled with varioushorrible fillings
e.g. Spaghetti and oil, hay sprayed with water, beans,custard, shaving foam, twigs and leaves - be creative!

Aim of the game:Girls should rummage around in the
boxes trying to find the stars
Touchy-Feely BoxesPlace everyday items in boxes and get the girls to guess
what they are by only touching themUnusual fruits and vegetables work well for this game
Pongy ParcelsPlace smelly items in boxes, and ask the girls to guess whatthe item is by using their noses!
Items you could use include:
Mint, Oranges, Banana,Shoe Polish, Garlic,
Cooked Eggs, Fresh Flowers,Coriander and other

This section is all about survival and exploring...There are references to different badges to help you with further ideas!
Mum’s Survival KitThis is great for giving mums (or anyone) a reason to smile!
In a small box, place the items listed along with acopy of the following text:

Know your address and telephone number in caseyou get lost while out and about!
Be able to give clear directions (or show ona map, the route) to local features fromyour meeting place e.g. Library, police
station, shop, petrol station etc
Learn to read a bus / train timetable
Learn about the Green Cross Code and the Country Code -share your knowledge in an imaginative way
