Mazingira House (ILRI environmental research centre) Background The only environmental research center in Africa with state-of-the art equipment for establishing environmental footprints (GHG, soil, water) for livestock production systems, operational since beginning of year 2015 Vision: To test and develop feeding and manure management strategies that increases livestock, feed and crop production while decreasing GHG emissions. Serving as a center for capacity building for environmental monitoring and assessments.
