Mary Jane Abram Mary Jane Abram Mary Jane Abram is a Mi’kmaq lawyer and photographer from the Millbrook First Nation in Truro, Nova Scotia. She was inspired to take up photography to document her regional, national and international travels. She expresses her feelings for the locations she visits though photographs in an attempt to bring her experiences to the viewer. The photograph “What Big Teeth you Have!” was inspired by fairy tales during a walk in the woods in Prince Edward Island. Fairy tales influence young and old alike and fuel the imagination turning trees into villains and shadows into magical creatures!
