Vital Vue™
Surgical Instrument
ILLUMINATION IRRIGATION AND SUCTION MADE EASY
1 ILLUMINATE · Maximize visibility in small spaces with precise directional light source
· Trans-illuminate tissues
2 IRRIGATE · Direct flow to specific site with local irrigation
· Finger tip control provides irrigation where you want it
3 SUCTION · Evacuate wound debris without additional instruments
· Vented design
Why choose the Vital Vue™ surgical instrument? The the 3-in-1 instrument is designed to provide aide to the surgeon when they need it most. The convenience, comfort and benefits have the potential to help reduce procedure times.
Vital Vue™ Surgical InstrumentThe 3-in-1 design of the Vital Vue™ surgical instrument provides surgeons with convenient, comfortable and immediate access between illumination, irrigation and suction – improving visibility and maneuverability during open surgical procedures.
· Fewer people / hands / instruments in the surgical site
· Visibility of the site is improved
· Greater maneuverability in smaller or difficult access areas
· Blue foam grips for easy and comfortable handling
· ‘No wait’ for illumination, suction or irrigation – 3-in-1 design
Abdominal Hysterectomy
Deep in the pelvis, space is limited, and visibility poor. The multi-functional Vital Vue™ surgical instrument saves on space, illuminates deep into the pelvic area, and can trans-illuminate connective tissues before resection. The irrigation and suction lumens provide instant functions without the need for introducing additional instruments that would otherwise obstruct the surgeon’s view and increase procedure time. Instantaneous irrigation and suction can assist in maintaining a clear surgical field.

Thoracic
When performing a Lobectomy with the assistance of the light from the Vital Vue™ surgical instrument, it is possible to section the peripheral pleural adhesions in the cavity as well as to release the hilum from the lung so as to control the vessels, the artery, and the pulmonary vein at the level of the mediastinum. The Vital Vue™ surgical instrument is also an added value when doing the lavage of the pleural cavity as it provides the needed irrigation and suction system that assists in verifying the air leaks, especially with the extra support of the illumination within the cavity.

Low Anterior Resection
Working deep in the abdomen and pelvis, visibility of the surgical area is restricted by other organs and lack of light. With most LAR procedures occurring in men, limited pelvic space also means a smaller operative area where the number of instruments being used in the surgical site can be problematic. The Vital Vue™ surgical instrument can provide light directly to the surgical site, and illuminate critical structures before resection. The same instrument can provide instant irrigation and suction and therefore time is not wasted changing between instruments.
Surgical Procedures that benefit from using Vital Vue™ surgical instrumentThe use of the Vital Vue™ surgical instrument has clear benefits to the surgeon when performing various procedures. A few top examples include:
