• CBO/CMS goal for Illinois was for 143,000 QHPs (Qualified Health Plans)

• As of 4/19/2014 (per ASPE), Illinois garnered 217,492 – which is 152% to goal

• Illinois was near the top of the country in “percent to goal” and also in “percent of eligible population enrolled” among non SBM with Medicaid Expansion

• As of 01/2015 a total of 572,112 expanded Medicaid enrollments.

• Brought Illinois’ total Affordable Care Act enrollments to 919,412.

Important Dates to Remember

• Open enrollment begins November 1, 2015

• If consumers enroll in a plan by December 15, 2015 their coverage will start January 1, 2016.

• Consumers are able to enroll in the Marketplace through January 31, 2016.

• Consumers can visit GetCoveredIllinois.Gov or call the Help Desk line at (866) 311-1119 open seven days a week from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
