If student wants to participate in ballet competition as a student of Illinois Classical Ballet, Illinois Classical Ballet is fully responsible for registration, submission of correct information and individual music files,full support and representation during competition. 5. If student wants to participate in ballet competition as independent,student may not use ICB studio for personal training, and not permitted to use Illinois Classical Ballet as a school name or Stella Voskovetskaya as a teacher and/or choreographer name for any of their variations. Competition Guidelines

I. General Information

If the student wants to participate in the competition as a student of Illinois Classical Ballet

1. Student may not take ballet/dance classes outside of ICB without explicit approvalof Illinois Classical Ballet.

2. If student wants to participate in programs such as summer intensives, master classes, andsupplemental classes outside of ICB, he/she should consult withICB for recommendations and directions

3. Student may not represent any other school or studio on any ballet/dance competition

4. Student may not accept any amateur or professional performing engagement without officialapproval of the Illinois Classical Ballet

Illinois Classical Ballet recommends student to perform variations selected by Ms. Stella who knows all week and strong points of the student. If necessary, ICB will invite a guest choreographer to create contemporary variations for the students. The cost of choreography and other associated fees such as airfare/hotel fees/car rental, are not covered by ICB tuition and will be the responsibility of the student and/or parents.Students are not obligated to perform a new contemporary/classical variation each year. It will be left to the discretion of the parents whether they choose to request new choreography for their child or not

V. Costumes

1. Illinois Classical Ballet does not provide costumes for ballet competitions; purchase and/orrenting of costumes for the competition is the responsibility of the student and theirparents.

2. Illinois Classical Ballet recommends but does not require parents to consult with Ms.Stella in advance regarding costumes for variations.

3. If parents request, ICB can provide a list of recommended costume vendors; however, itremains the responsibility of the parents to choose and purchase the costume

4. Parents are fully responsible for any shipping and/or rental costs associated with balletcostumes, including returning the costume if necessary. ICB is not responsible for anydamage incurred to the costumes during its use, storage, shipping or transportation

1. Registration Feesa. The payment for registration is established by each organization individually. It is

due at the moment of registration. If student is registered by Illinois ClassicalBallet, all registration fees will be paid by ICB at the time of registration afterverifying with student’s parents/guardians.

b. Parents will have to re-pay ICB all registration fees within 5 business days.

VI. Expenses

2. Costume Feesa. Parents are fully responsible for all renting/shipping cost of costume, and any related

costs as stocking fee, cleaning fee etc. related to buying/renting costume.

3. Coaching Fees1.1. Local semi-final competition:

a.a. Parents of each student will pay $50 coaching fee per competition(regardless if competition will take one, two or three days)

2.2. Out of town semi-final competition

a.a. Parents of each student will pay $50 coaching fee per competition plus travelexpenses (airfare,hotel,car rental).Travel expenses for each competition will bedetermined separately depending on the location of the competition and splitequally between all parents, whose children participate in that event.

3.3. Final

a.a. Parents have a choice of going to Finals with or without accompanyingteacher

b.b. If parents will go without accompanying teacher, one parent will beentered as a teacher and eligible to get one teacher’s badge per family(badge distribution is solely up to competition organizer)

c. If parents will go with accompanying teacher,following fees will be paid by parents:- $500 coaching fee for entire period of competition (coaching fee will be dividedequally between all parents if more than one student go to Finals)

- Travel expenses (airfare,hotel,car rental) will be decided equally between allparents if more than one student go to Finals

d.d. Parents may not make any travel arrangements for accompanying teacher

VII. Registration as Independent

If student and/or parents/legal guardians disagree with our recommendations, and/or want student to register and participate in a ballet competition of her choice as INDEPENDENT participant, student and her parents: - May not use ICB studio for personal training, private lessons and/or for staging choreography with non-ICB staff - May not use the name of Illinois Classical Ballet as a school name - May not use the name of Stella Voskovetskaya as a teacher and/or choreographer name for any of their variations.

1. Attending dance classes at other schools2. Participating in ballet competitions in favor of another ballet school3. Accepting any amateur or professional performing engagement without the official

approval of ICB4. Any behavior that may damage the reputation of Illinois Classical Ballet5. Negative comments about the Illinois Classical Ballet to other students, parents, or

community members**This includes social media, texting, and email

As INDEPENDENT participant, student and student's parents are responsible for - Classical and contemporary choreography - Costumes - Registration,including submitting correct registration information and registration fees in time - Music files preparation,correct format of music files and timely submission - Competition's schedule verification,communication with competition's officials in case if any corrections have to be done - General tasks such as changing room,warm-up schedule,teacher's badge etc.

For INDEPENDANT students,private lessons' rate is $160.00 per hour

Student's representation may be terminated due to one of the following reasons:
