BeginningJanuary5,2009,ILLiadanonlinedocumentorderinganddeliverysystemwillbeusedtoplacerequestsfor allInterlibraryLoanandArticleDeliveryitemsattheUTHSCLibraries. TotakeadvantageoftheILLiadservice,youmusthavecompletedthefollowingtwosteps:
1. BecurrentlyregisteredforlibraryprivilegeswiththeUTHSCLibrary.Ifyouareunsureofyourregistrationstatus,youcancall(210)5672440.Ifyouhavenotregistered,youcanaccess theborrowerregistrationformathttp://www.library.uthscsa.edu/using/borrower.pdfandthenreturnformto anyLibraryorfaxto(210)[email protected]. 2. BeregisteredtousetheILLiadsystem. ToregisterforILLiad,logonathttp://library.uthscsa.edu/illiadusingyouremailaddressandHSCIDandthenclickon button. Emailaddressthatyouusedfor yourlibraryregistration(maynotbe [email protected]).
YourHSCID#(withleadingzeros). Afterinitiallogin,youcanchange yourpassword.
Youwillthenbedirectedtothefollowingpage:
*Fieldswillbepopulatedwithinformation fromyourlibraryrecord. Makechangesifnecessary.Thesechanges willaffectyourILLiadrecordonlyandwill notupdateyourlibraryrecord.
