2. GISGIS is a protective device that is installed at the substation which limits the range of accidents by quickly shutting out load cur-rent and fault current. We currently produce and supply 245kV GIS/ 170kV GIS / 145kV GIS / 72.kV GIS / 36kV GIS /25.8kV GIS.

3. Distribution Protection DeviceSwitch : It is used for the purpose of playing a role of load breaking and we produce eco-friendly with insulating SF6 GAS / Polymer.

Recloser : It automatically cuts off electricity if there is load current, and mainly protects for electrical devices. Moreover, it amplifies with reliability of supplying stable electricity and we produce eco-friendly with insulating SF6 GAS / Polymer.

ALTS : If there is occurrence of power cut, ATLS device uses re-served electricity to supply stable one and we produce indoor and outdoor type of it

C-GIS/MCSG : We produce as C- GIS (Cubicle type) which is more compact in size than the original GIS as well as MCSG(Metal Clad Switch-gear) which is eco-friendly.

DC Circuit Breaker : We product and supply DC C/B which mainly installed at subway station, ESS substation, and etc. where DC power supply is needed to protect the railway.

Power Cable Division successfully finished with the projects such as Incheon International Airport High voltage transmis-sion line project in 2000, Yeongheung Thermal power gen-eration of 345kv in 2007, and Posco Construction project of 345kv in 2010. We were heading forward in different overseas countries and made competition with other manufactur-ers. We produced high voltage cable, cable accessories, and performed construction based on Full Turnkey ability and we could make contracts of 220kV, 345kV, and 400kV in overseas with the ability. Our techniques for producing power cable are acknowledged and we will offer Total Solution in the range of transmission and distribution with the pursuit of Total Cost Down through development of immense capacity.

WHAT WE DOWHO WE AREPower Cable Division was established in 1994 and it performs with production, access, wire routing, and construction of high voltage cable. It also provides the highest Cable Network and it is recognized as the core of power cable industry. Power Cable Division successfully implemented large projects in 30 overseas countries, and we will do our best on focusing on in-novating the customer’s value with the high quality service, technique, and our passion.

The main products what we make are bare conductor, insu-lated wire, medium/low voltage cable, high voltage cable, furnace cable, and cable accessories. Also, our techniques for EHV cable, production and construction of cable accessories are recognized in the worldwide.

Bare ConductorAs cable used in transmission or distribution cable route, there is ACSR which is used for overhead cable that needs tensile load, ACSR/AW which is used for overhead cable route that needs electrolytic etching prevention or corrosion resistance due to contact between dissimilar metals, or TACSR/AW, HTACSR/AW, HSTACIR/AW which are used for existing over-head cable route that needs to increase capacity.

4. Insulated WireAs wire used for indoor and outdoor wiring under 750V, it is insulated with PVC or XLPE on top of the conductor.

We originally introduced SCR business division to provide stable supply of raw materials for power and communication cable as well as to create a synergy effect. However, after endless R&D and quality improvement efforts, we are now showing sig-nificant growth in domestic Copper Rod market. In the field of Aluminum business, utilizing SCR’s original and manufacturing technology, we are producing high density, high quality Alumi-num Rod. Currently, wee are also developing two-sized product to expand our customer based through diversification.

ILJIN Electrics introduced SOUTHWIRE USA’s most advanced production facilities in 1998. Also, by using only the elec-trolytic copper listed as Grade A on the London LME market, ILJIN Electric began its business by producing Copper Rods that are superior mechanically and have higher specifications when electro deposited. After endless R&D and new product development efforts, ILJIN Electric have been able to produce and supply high quality Aluminum Rods since 2006, striving to become the specialist producer in core-materials industry.

Heavy Electric Laboratory, which was established in 1987, has stood in the center of national and international heavy electrical industry R&D with its history of 30 years. Heavy Electric Laboratory is leading establishment of electricity transmission& distribution infrastructure by developing High-voltage GIS, transformers and key equipment installed in substations. Recently, to lead the heavy electrical market of the future, ILJIN Electric is in the process of actively developing eco-friendly GIS and transformer, intelligent sensor attached HV GIS, and low noise/light-weight transformer by incorporating advanced technology to existing products.

Furthermore, ILJIN Electric will play a leading role in future, high technology heavy electrical field by actively participating in academic-industrial collaborative research and level-up of self developed technology.

Power Cable & System Laboratory, which was established in 1995, has been focused on R&D of transmission&distribution EHV power cable, cable accessories and insulating material. By developing 400kV EHV cable and accessories, it has achieved Type Test and PQ Test certification from KEMA. In addition, to strengthen market competitiveness and heighten reputation as a global company, it is in the process of achieving international certification for 500kV EHV cable and accessories, which is the highest voltage available in underground cable market.
