II July CAMPAIGN SIGHTFIRST II LIONS VISION FOR ALL ampaign SightFirst II CSFII held Worldwide Report Day on June 14. Forty-six national/multi-national campaign coordinators from around the world called Lions Clubs International Headquarters to report when 45,000 Lions Clubs in 1 97 countries will conduct CSFII fundraising campaigns. Past International President and Campaign SightFirst II Chairperson Dr. Tae-Sup Lee and Past International President and Campaign Vice Chairperson and International Coordinator J. Frank Moore Ill fielded the scheduled calls from volunteers in 16 time zones between the hours of 8 a.m. and 6 p.m. Weeks of communications, from e-mail-blasts to countless telephone calls, prepared more than 7,000 Lion leaders for this important day. More than 20,430 Lions clubs will begin intensive fundraising in the 2006- year alone, making Worldwide Report Day a great success. Lions clubs’ enthusiastic participation in this report, and their subsequent CSFII fund- raising activities are critical to the success of the campaign and Lions’ continued service in the fight against preventable blindness. Campaign SightFirst II will continue Lions SightFirst program and save or prevent visior loss in 37 million people around the world. INTERNATIONAL CONVENTION MAKES AN IMPACT According to the Greater Boston Convention and Visitors Bureau, in terms of size and economic impact, the 2006 Lions Clubs International Convention is among the top 1 0 conventions ever in the City of Boston. * In late April, Jen Schlueter, Club Supplies Sales, took part in the 2006 Walkto Remember in Oak Forest. The walk raised money for a proposed memorial forpeace officers who died in the line of duty.

SURVEY SAYS :In May, a survey was run on the English version of the Lions Clubs InternationalWeb site. A total of 368 people took the survey. Following are some of the results:* Half of the visitors polled were from outside North America* 88% rate the content on the site as excellent or good* 81 % rate the look and navigation as excellent or good* More than 9% of the people who took the time to fill out the survey are non-Lions* 36% visit the Lions Clubs International Web site on a weekly basis* 14% were visiting the Lions Clubs International Web site for the first time* 71% say that from 75% to 100% of the time they find what they are looking

for in what they consider to be a reasonable amount of time* 75% have high-speed Internet access* 62% rate their level of experience with computers and Web sites as

intermediate and 30% as expert
